HEUR-H50 is a polyether polyurethane association thickener, very weak association type, with double thickening and leveling effect, high shear viscosity thickening effect. Its thickening system has excellent fluidity and leveling properties, providing high shear viscosity. Its almost Newtonian flow type rheological characteristics, especially suitable for the rheological, flow level and thickening effect of high requirements of water-based systems.

It can be added during the grinding or paint blending stage, or after adding the emulsion. It is recommended to add 0.5-3% (total formula), and the exact amount of addition should be determined by different formulations and required viscosity. In order to better disperse and avoid agglomeration, use water or cosolvent 1:1 dilution before adding.

Notes

1.The association thickening is affected by temperature. The viscosity is higher at low temperature and lower at high temperature. Temperature conditions should be considered when designing the formula;

2.When the batch of thickened material is changed, the test should be done again to determine the amount of thickener;

3.Its viscosity has a temperature effect, so it is easy to pump above 20℃.

Used for waterborne industrial paint, waterborne ink, waterborne interior and exterior wall paint and so on. Excellent brush feel, anti-roll coating excellent flow, leveling performance and hiding effect.
